I wondered into this Centre over a year ago, not really knowing what I wanted but knew I was not well and needed help. I later found out I had MDS which is a blood cancer where the red blood cells don't form properly. I was under Scott's care and instantly felt relaxed and cared for. I changed my diet and implemented treatments and tonics. I had to have 2 blood transfusions from my Hematologist specialist at the beginning, then gradually every blood test got better and better. Through the year I also started practicing Kim's yoga which just completed the whole package. I now have normal blood readings and one doctor said to me "well I guess we put it down to an act of God". How can I show my appreciation of this special, beautiful couple who I trust explicitly? I am so grateful and Ayurveda will always have a place in my life.

Dr Williams is such an amazing find. She advised me before my actual diagnosis that cancer was on the way through science. It's a long story about how I came to know of her. In essence I asked our Functional Practitioner, the excellent Tracey Randall one question 'do you know anyone in the UK who can spot cancer before it shows up in conventional medicine?' I had concerns about a member of my family. She recommended Xandria. I met Xandria with 2 of my family members. After a test, she shared that I had a problem and needed to change my lifestyle dramatically. I made cosmetic changes. 8 months later I got diagnosed with Stage 4 Primary Peritoneal Cancer. The day I got diagnosed I made an appointment to see Xandria and from that day, I decided to take control of my life and staying alive. She has guided me through that process, always respecting my decisions and nurturing me through that process even when I took the decision to combine conventional medicine and the life saving lifestyle changes that Xandria recommends through her years of research and learning. She is a firm believer that we all need to 'captain our own ship'. I am very much alive and feel so blessed to be working with her through my cancer journey. Thank you Xandria 🙏

I was diagnosed with metastatic melanoma back in January 2018. I had 79 lymph nodes (4 of those were positive for melanoma) removed from the left side of my neck. I also have 3 small spots in 3 different areas of my body. After surgery, I refused traditional radiation and visited here...the Prather Practice.
I had all the testings done and was put on homeopathic supplements to help my body heal itself. I had a CT scan done in May and the results were that “your spots have shrunk tremendously”!
I recently finished 14 Occupational Therapy treatments with Karina and the same amount of lymphatic treatments with Justine. I have full rotation back in my left arm; my lymph system has improved and I feel really well.
The staff here at Dr. Prathers Office have always been pleasant and I’m sure I’ve made the best decision for my own health care.
Thank you, ladies, for your genuine care and concern not only for me but I’ve observed you with other patients. I’m sure they can say the same. What a blessing you’ve been to me!!

Back in July 2018 my Fiance Erica Murphy was Diagnosed with Stage 2 Grade 3 Breast Cancer. We went through all her Doctors appointments even though it felt endless. We even went to the biggest Cancer facility in L.A. and the Doctor literally told her that if she didn't do Chemo or Radiation that the Insurance wouldn't pay them and it was the only way she would be treated. Now in my head, that didn't sound right to me. So Erica decided she didn't want to do traditional western medicine (Chemo/radiation). The reason I'm sharing this story is to let people know that there are other alternative ways of healing the body to help it fight cancer. Unfortunately, most of what they do over the border is illegal here in the states. I wasn't big on going over the border for treatment at first because I did not know much about it and how they treat, but Erica had done extensive research on the clinics out in Mexico and she decided it was the best way to heal her body and fight this horrible disease. We visited many facilities until we came across Verita Life in Tijuana. They are amazing and treated us like family there. They were very personal and would be there by her side at any second that she needed them. If she needed them on a day we were not at the clinic we could call a doctor personally at any time of the day or night. As of now her last 2 Blood test shows no cancer on her Cancer markers which is a very good sign, she is still doing at home treatments with dendritic cell vaccines and will be rechecked again in a couple months.
We are willing to help anyone that knows a loved one or friend with this horrible disease and lead them in the right direction. Thank you and God bless to all.

Dear Dr. Ghei,
I would like to take this opportunity to express to you my most
heartfelt appreciation for not only your skill as my functional & integrative medicine doctor but also your compassion throughout this process. Way back in Feb of 2016 I was diagnosed with stage three advanced breast cancer. Having been in good health for most of my life and finding out that I might not have much time left put me and my family in a lot of pain and stress.
However, after consulting with you, your positive attitude and aggressive approach towards your treatment protocols has helped me fight this disease on a daily basis.
Your skill and knowledge and positive outlook has been playing a major
role. I truly feel that not only do I owe my life to you, but that I
was blessed to find myself placed in your more than capable hands.

I also appreciate your continuous support through these testing times, giving me your time when ever I needed it. The list of supplements is extremely long but I’ve gotten used to taking them as I realize that with my serious diagnosis they are needed and that they have actually helped me get back on my feet after going through eight cycles of chemo, surgery & reconstruction followed by twenty-five cycles of radiation. I also wanted to add that my oncologist was certainly surprised with the level of energy I used to exhibit throughout my treatment. The conventional nutritionist that the hospital provided at one point realized that I would not be taking their diet plan and finally left me alone. Needless to say 2016 was a testing year of my life. As a patient living with advanced breast cancer I must say that we cannot go by the numbers the doctors give with regards to life expectancy but can add several more years to our life by making changes to our diet and lifestyle as you have taught me.

Saying “Thank You” seems so insufficient but I can find no words
that truly express my feelings appropriately, so I will stick with
those two simple words with the hope that you know the depth of
emotion and gratitude they contain.

Functional Medicine Doctor: Dr. Manisha Ghei -Autoimmune MD- Integrative, Holistic, Functional Medicine

Just before Christmas I was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma cancer stage 3 & started chemo-therapy February 4th. Being a clean & sober addict in recovery, I've refrained from all pain meds & taken nothing but Motrin & Tylenol thru 2 surgeries, a bone marrow biopsy & 2 chemo sessions. Needless to say, I've been in discomfort. I've been flirting with the idea of pain medicine although I'm deathly afraid of starting down that path unless I'm in excruciating circumstances.
I emptied my bank account paying cash for cancer diagnosis & one surgery. I purchased insurance thru the Affordable Care Act, but have been challenged to earn the income I need to get by being sick.
I casually met Monica May a number years ago. When Monica heard about my struggle with discomfort, she reached out & offered me a complimentary session as ACA won't cover acupuncture.
I arrived at the office in the early afternoon, was greeted with a smile & soon after was explaining to Monica the pain I've been experiencing as well as insomnia that often accompanies chemotherapy. After a thorough interview, Monica applied the acupuncture & before she even left the room I found myself drifting off to sleep.
Nearly an hour had passed when Monica re-entered the room and woke me. Still, in a dream-like a state, I drove on the Royal Oak, climbed into bed & slept more than I have in over a month.
Even after only one treatment, the tightness in my shoulders & back where I seem to carry my tension have dramatically lessened, I am calmer & been sleeping far better.
My life much more bearable & words can't express how grateful I am.
Warm Regards & POSITIVE LOVE,
Daniel Ottney
