Patient age 32, male, lawyer by profession came to me on 31 Oct’16 with problem of hemorrhoids that occured recently for him. As far as symptoms, he would experience severe pain defecating sitting down and washing himself in cold water. He would feel the pain as if something was going to burst. Curious as far as how it occured, I further found out that the patient had been addicted to taking laxatives for many years to relieve his constipation. He would also feel severe itching in her anal area at night with no relief until he would apply betamathasone ointment.
I prescribed him to stop all medication and application of ointment at night. The problem was that the patient was unable to sleep due to itching in anal area at night until he applied the ointment.
I paid lot of importance to this particular symptom of itching as this rubric has limited medication.And sleep is a general symptom more important than particulars. Here a particular °itching anus°was combined with a general °sleeplessness°.So along with other symptoms Aloes. soc was result of repertorisation.
Prescription: Aloes 200 / 3 doses given on alternate days
2nd Follow-up on Nov. 9th: Patient was pleasantly surprised to find relief and his pain had subsided by 50%
Prescription: I repeated Aloes 200 / 3 doses on alternate days.
3rd Follow-up on Nov. 28: The patient informed that he was pain free and no symptoms of Hemorrhoids
He is leading a pain free happy and healthy life now.
