Therapy:
We did perhaps 7 or 8 treatments in all. It’s a year later, and she recently contacted me. She’s had a couple of short lived flare ups recently with the heat and humidity, but overall the treatments held. We will do a little maintenance session soon. I am not sure if diode chains are generally used for this purpose, swelling and edema, but in this case they were very effective.
Reason for swelling:
She had a thorough work up on her venous return system including a test where they inject dye to determine if venous valves were functioning properly. I have my own unscientific theories but it’s just guesswork.
2 year bout of edema in right lower leg, fluid accumulation in ankle, foot and toes. Very few signs of damp, but it’s worse in summer. Besides treating for water accumulation, I treated for vascular compression of inner thigh as her reflexes were extremely tender. Also, burned direct moxa on Sp9 & Sp7. A remarkable change after two treatments! I will see her Monday, and any further suggestions are much appreciated.
May I add that I subsequently treated her leg with diode chains and triple bypass cords, which made the the effects of the treatments last longer and also produced immediate results.
