Treatment chart for depression
-Fast on juices for a week. Take a glass of fruit or vegetable juice every two hours, with warm water and cleanse the bowels with a water enema.
All-fruit diet for five further days. Taking fresh juicy fruits at five-hourly intervals during this period.
Thereafter, the following diet may be adopted:
-Upon arising -50 black raisins soaked overnight in water kept in a copper vessel.
Breakfast -Fresh fruit, a glass of milk, and a handful of raw nuts
Lunch- A bowl of freshly steamed vegetables, two whole chappatis, and a glass of buttermilk.
Mid-afternoon -A glass of vegetable or fruit juice or sugarcane juice.
Dinner- a bowl of fresh green vegetable salad and mung bean sprouts.
Foods to avoid
All flesh foods, sugar, white flour, tea, coffee, condiments, pickles refined and processed foods, fried foods, and products made from sugar and white flour.
Other measures
1. Drink two-three liters of water daily.
2. Coldwater bath twice daily.
3. Wet abdomen pack once daily
4. Exercise especially brisk walks for 30 to 45 minutes daily morning and evening so that one improves circulation in the body.
5. Adequate rest and sleep.
