About me

Agility Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine is a small privately owned clinic operated by a female business owner. Dr. Marci Catallo-Madruga, PT, DPT has taken great effort in providing care to the clients who walk through the doors at the clinic. She strives to get at least a word in passing to every client. In 2009, she began seeing clients from her home and slowly expanded that business. She felt an increased need to start her own company as a way to make a true income in 2011 after one of her twin boys had to have major surgery at just 7 months of age. The flexibility in being a business owner is a double-edge sword, but she truly enjoys what she does and wants to provide the best care she can to as many people as she is able. And she wants to have great staff on hand to care for you as well.

The industry of healthcare is ever changing. In the past 7 years, we have seen physicians open and own physical therapy services and try to stifle referrals out to private practices. We have seen hospitals and other large groups purchase private practice physicians. There are fewer options for health insurance and the increasing costs make physical therapy a luxury instead of a need. We understand the value of every healthcare dollar you spend and want to make sure you feel that you are receiving a benefit not taking on another expense when you come to our clinic.

Most of our clients schedule with the same physical therapist for every session. There are occasions where illness or vacations prevent that, but we like to keep your care consistent. We talk about you. No, not like that. We do our version of "rounds- where we discuss what is going on with clients so that if someone has something come up we can offer advice and possibly take over care if there is illness in your provider. We genuinely like what we do. No, not the paperwork or the administrative things, but the information we give you to help you. The hands-on care we provide. The little bits of education we impart. We live for that.

We want to get to know you. The more we know about you and your needs, the more we can help. If we know that you are struggling some other way in your life, we can offer advice to help that situation too. We want to celebrate you. When you get a promotion or a win at work or have a baby. We want to wish you well and remind you that there are people out there that care about you.

We want you to feel like an extended part of our family. Your ability to heal is directly related to how you feel about your providers. People who have faith in the knowledge and skill level of their provider often do well. People who genuinely like their providers typically do GREAT! If we are making you feel welcome, we want you to give us suggestions on what we can change to allow for that. Our clinic only exists with you in it. So do our livelihoods.
