About me
Originally from New Jersey, I grew up in New York City and graduated from Rutgers University with a dual B.A. in English and Journalism. Upon moving to Los Angeles I studied graphic design at UCLA, and opened up an entertainment advertising agency. But something was missing and I felt a deeper calling. Then, after unexpectedly losing my 3rd child at birth, the painful wake-up call was clear and I knew I needed to follow this new path in my son's memory.
6 years later, I graduated from Dongguk University - Los Angeles with a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine. While at Dongguk I had the pleasure of working in the Student Clinic for 2.5 years as well as interning at The University of Southern California Engemann Health Center. I am certified with advanced training in Chinese Medical Pediatric Diagnosis, advanced training from the NICABM in Strategies for working wth Anxiety, am a Doctoral Candidate, a Licensed Acupuncturist & Primary Care Provider by the State of California, a member of the American Society of Acupuncturists, The California Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine Association and a proud Board Member of the Los Feliz Business Improvement District.
I love California and currently reside, work, and am active in the beautiful community of Los Feliz with my husband of 23 years and our two children. Residing in California has opened my eyes to a healthier lifestyle and broader view of healthcare.
There is very little Traditional Chinese Medicine has not had success in treating. I have worked with infants, children, women, men, the elderly, cats, dogs and even horses! I am here for you and am happy to answer any questions you may have regarding how Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine can benefit you and your family.
