Where to start? After completing my 200hrs YTT Jan 18 I keep finding it hard to write a review because the words just can't and won't do this place justice. If you are looking for a real connection within, following the true essence of yoga and yourself then look no further. This course is not about the fancy vinyasa yoga postures you now see so much of on social media. It does give you the knowledge and understanding of the asanas (postures) but it goes so much deeper into asking who you really are and what you are capable of. You will find peace and a true connection with the world around you and within. The teachers Vinod, Sanji and out Swami are world-class, their depth and understanding of yoga are truly inspiring. They make this Ashram what it is, their humor and humility are so refreshing. They have given me the tools to teach and share straight away and I now teach 3 x per week. Thank you all.
The Ayur Yoga Eco Ashram is just beautiful 1hrs drive from Mysore, it sits alone surrounded by rice fields, an amazing river, trees, plants, flowers, buzzing birds and endless sunrises and sunsets. The colors, sounds, and life will stay etched in your memories for a lifetime. The food is far beyond what you could have asked for and every day we still yearn for the coconut sambal, the cooking staff is world-class. The accommodation is also fantastic, beds are comfy clean, showers are hot and powerful, housekeeping comes around every week to clean and change the beds. I cannot that the whole team enough from the bottom of my heart. Until the next time we meet, Hari om tat sat.
