We started Ayurveda treatment and the patient got significant relief in his chest pain, dyslipidemia, anxiety, etc. within two months. We continued with the treatment regularly for almost one year and after that Pathya (Ayurvedic scientific diet) continued and also gave him off and on treatment for dyslipidemia and his other problems such as lower back pain and numbness etc.
The patient has been feeling absolutely fine and now almost symptom-free for last 3 years and without any western drug for a heart problem.
So just to check the status of his heart blockage, he again went for fresh angiography on 26.06.2019 and you will be astonished to see the positive outcome of his Ayurvedic treatment with a significant reduction in plaques and normal cardiac functions with LVEF 61% and Total Coronary Calcium score is 42.2.
During the entire treatment, we used only 2 to 3 Ayurvedic medicines used at a time.
Ayurveda Treatment Protocol: Pachna, Lekhana, and Anulomna.
Medicines had been chosen and changed from time to time accordingly as per state and stage.

Case Presentation:
Dyslipidemia is among lifestyle disorders due to the modern stressful lifestyle. It may be manifested by elevation of the complete cholesterol the bad low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol and the triglyceride concentrations and a reduction in the good high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol concentration in the blood. Dyslipidemia is widely regarded as a significant risk factor for coronary heart disease (CHD) and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD). Every 1% increase in cholesterol level, there is a 1-2% increase in the incidence of Coronary Heart Disease.
Lipids can be connected to that of Medo Dhatu. In accordance with the scattered references, Dyslipidemia can be connected to Medo Dosha and afterward as Medoroga. The treatment principles mainly comprise Samshodhana Chikitsa (Bio cleansing), whereas in contemporary statins are the first choice of medication.
Looking into the adverse reactions and the limitations in the modern medication clinical trial was carried out in 30 patients having Dyslipidaemia. Lekhana Basti was administered, and the effect of treatment on the whole lipid profile, i.e., Serum cholesterol, Triglycerides, HDL, S.LDL, VLDL was evaluated following the treatment and follow up. Basti Karma is one of the best treatments for the correction of Vata Dosha, which are the basic factors involved in the pathogenesis of Medoroga. Research shows that statistical analysis using ANOVA and the paired test revealed a highly significant result from the lipid profile after the treatment and follow up.
