35 year old female came to me with overweight and chronic fatigue syndrome. Her energy levels were low and she was obese and avoided social events.
I tried to understand her mind, body and soul and coached her as how her mind and soul can have a negative impact on her body. I recommended her Detox program that focuses not only on food but everything else that encompasses us in our life. Through constant support, encouragement and guidance over few weeks, the client was able to lose over 50 lbs and regain her energy levels back to normal.
Most of the protocols for healthy eating dwell on calories, carbohydrates, fats, and proteins. I encourage my clients explore basic improvements and implement gradual changes. I try not to focus too much on creating lists of restrictions or good and bad foods. I have create a personalized Detox program tailored to each client need. This particular client was give a full 14 days of complete body detoxing and was given a complete set of personal goals and worked towards a sustainable change. I prescribe simple recipes that are not only nutritious but delicious as well. Some of the recipes that I recommend for different meals:
Smoothie for Breakfast:
1 Cucumber/1 banana/1 kiwi/spinach/1/2 cup coconut water
Add all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
