50-year-old male case of an esophagus cancer patient who came to our clinic after operation followed by chemoradiation.Main complaints were as follows:He could swallow liquid easily but he had a problem in swallowing solids. He cannot eat anything, whatever he eats, he gets choked on his food. He would gag and vomit it out.  Lot of burning of the tongueHe had the choking and constricting sensation of the throatWith all these complaints there was no pain in the throat.How should I proceed with this case?The patient cannot talk much, not expressing anything, just saying that I cannot eat anything and weight is decreasing. ANALYSIS:Considering the present state of the patient and anchoring the PQRS symptoms of the patientsRUBRICS:throat; convulsions, spasms; esophagus; swallow liquids, only • throat; convulsions, spasms; esophagus; swallowing, on (18) • throat; swallowing; impossible; solids (12) • throat; swallowing; impeded; liquids only, can swallow, gags least food (14) • throat; swallowing; difficult; fluids only, can swallow, but gags solid food. Â
Homeopathy for Throwing up and for symptoms as noted above.
I prescribed Rx-Baptasia 200 for 2 days followed by LM6.
DIFFERENTIATION:
CAJUPUTUM: There is a persistent sensation of choking. It is a remedy for stricture of the esophagus.
Hiccoughs that starts at the slightest provocation
There is a constant inclination to spit and hawks up large quantities of tough mucus
The swelling sensation of esophagus and pain in the esophagus
CAUNDORANGO: Tumors, stricture of the esophagus, where food seems to stick
Burning pain behind the sternum
Vomiting of foodÂ
Key symptoms: Painful cracks in the corners of the mouth
Persistent sore throat
BARYTA CARBONICA: Spasm of the esophagus as soon as food enters the esophagus, causing gagging and chokingÂ
Feeling of a plug in pharynx can only swallow liquids
Smarting pain in the throat
On swallowing, sensation as if the food had to force itself over a sore spot.
The patient felt much better after the medication and can swallow his food properly.
