This is a case of 12 years female child suffering from cough and severe throat pain (enlarged tonsils) and this problem use to get aggravate every winter. She was suffering for the last 5 days and taking antibiotics with no relief (augmentin).Her symptoms:Severe cough more at night after lying down and in the evening with shooting pain in the throat extending to her ears. She would get pain while swallowing food or liquids and on empty swallowing also. Cough is usually dry but sometimes mucus comes out on hard hawking. Tickling in the throat that aggravates cough with itching in the ears especially left ear.
Homeopathic Remedy for Cough and Severe Throat Pain:
Phytolacca Decandra 200 every 2 hourly for one day and the next day. Her pain was 80% better and after that phytolacca decandra, 200 two times a day for 2 days was given. She was fine and her health was normal.
