On examination – rals heard much in right lung.
I selected Bryonia 200 as homeopathic medicine for Acute Bronchitis Relief.
Remedy selected – Bryonia 200 single dose with placebo for 3 days.
Reason for my selection of Bryonia 200:
Hot, Thirsty, scanty sweat with dryness, rals in right lung, craving for warm milk. Stool difficult to pass.
Follow ups:
She was completely normal within 2 days , but again she came to me last week similar complaint, everytime the baby starts cold with severe rals , difficulty in breathing and continuous cough , I explained to her mother about the importance of case history elaborate to select a similimum to cure completely.
General History:
Sleep normal: wants her mother nearby sleeping with her.
Thermal and thirst: same, when cold complaints are not there thirstless, active,
Appetite: normal, desire for milk and egg.
Mind: baby, active, intellect, wants the presence of her mother, possessive with her elder sister. She doesn’t allow her mother to carry her sister but plays with her sister well. Mood: Adjustable, mood swings will be there, sometimes happy, sometimes dull or active, cries easily.
Pregnancy History:
Mother was very much disturbed to leave her elder daughter during delivery time, she didn’t feel happiness for new baby arrival, she constantly cries for her elder daughter of missing her as she was with her aunty for 3 months, daughter also missed her much, disappointment by missing her daughter elder, elective cesarean section as she was short-statured, mother very much emotional, weeps for everything, loves a lot of her kids and husband, she was very timid, even weeps when others tell their sorrows, expect love, care, and consolation from loved ones, wants to work as she was a microbiologist, family bonding, so she herself not going for a job for the sake of kids.
This time I have selected Pulsatilla 200 Single dose with placebo for 3 days, the baby was better within 5 hours, rals subsided, appetite better, cough reduced, slept peacefully, but developed mild fever, indicates hering’s law of cure that selected remedy is similimum, but as an acute remedy I have selected with giving more importance to exciting cause even though it happened 2 yrs back consideration of her mother disappointed by missing her daughter elder one why I consider this as essential is, her mother cried even telling now too, so I can understand her bonding regarding love bonding with family, with selection of pulsatilla, hot, thirstless, possessive, love attachment, less active, Desire milk. This is matched with baby, because her mother is trying to give importance to her elder daughter as she is 7 yrs old, thinking that the elder daughter should not miss the love of her, by misunderstanding that her younger daughter doesn’t know much about love, so that’s why the baby is getting complaints often. She too misses the bonding of love. Dare to be wise.
