We saw improvement in the left ovary as well and will be healed in the next 2-3 months. Ayurveda therapy has the power to help heal. However, we request our clients to follow compliance and also not expect every case to be the same. Few cases can take up to a few additional months. However, we have seen improvement in all of our PCOD cases. Most of the clients have been on medication without any improvement and having side effects of chemical or hormonal therapies.
In the end, most of the clients’ natural therapies help themselves. We have treated a lot of cases for PCOD and have over 80% success rate with these cases.
Case Discussion
PCOS (Polycystic ovarian syndrome) is known to be a complex endocrine disorder. It’s widespread in the young reproductive age group of girls. Incidence varies between 8-10%, more prevalent amongst infertile women. In the present era, as a result of a sedentary lifestyle, lack of physical actions, excessive stress, and anxiety worsen the prognosis of these diseases. The heterogeneous disease is characterized by excessive androgen production by the ovaries, mainly, which interferes with the reproductive, endocrine, and metabolic functions. The significant clinical features are amenorrhoea, oligomenorrhea, hirsutism, obesity, acanthosis nigricans, and infertility. In modern science, the treatment recommended is hormonal treatment and other medications that cause an adverse impact in due course of life. The growth in the prevalence of PCOS has turned into a big cause of health concern since it’s increasing the incidences of infertility as well as metabolic syndrome i.e., insulin resistance diabetes and dyslipidemia in a younger age. According to Ayurveda, PCOS involves Kapha and VataDosha, Meda, Mamsa, RaktaDhatus. In general, it’s regarded as Bahudoshavastha, for which Ayurveda can play a significant role. EspeciallyPanchakarma can have better outcomes, including Vamana, Virechana, Anuvasana, Niruha&Nasya. Panchkarma might be a better line of therapy for PCOS because it works on fixing the underlying root cause together with symptoms of these diseases if Panchakarma is combined with shamanic medicines, it can give superior results.
