Therapy:
I have user Auricular Acupuncture to treat hypertension patients.
As a “simple” Sangria from the apex of the ear can help so much in cases of hypertension, headache, and migraine. We have direct ramifications going exactly to the point where it is usually made to puntura removing a few drops of blood! This is one of my favorite techniques and I’m sure it can help a lot in cases of hypertension, headaches, allergies, irritation, insomnia and more.
Auricular acupuncture to Lower Blood Pressure
High blood pressure (hypertension) is a condition that is also known as the “silent killer.” It typically has no symptoms but is a significant risk for many other conditions like stroke, diabetes, and heart disease. All of these diseases are among the leading causes of death in the United States. If left untreated, hypertension can impair the blood vessels, heart, brain, eyes, and kidneys for several years and without causing any symptoms. Hypertension can be prevented and treated, but early detection is crucial with aggressive therapy and long term management.
Auricular acupuncture stimulation is a popular Traditional Chinese Medicine procedure. It involves stimulating specific points on the ears that correspond to various organ systems of the body. In traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), the ears aren’t only for hearing; they are closely correlated with the inner organs. TCM regards the ears as a significant body part for clinical diagnosis and therapy, stimulating points on them is able to achieve overall or specific results. The way to excite the ear points can be needling, power, injection, blood-letting, pressing, or moxa heating.
Auricular stimulation Is indicated for many different conditions and is relatively simple and straightforward to apply. For hypertension, the typically chosen points include liver, heart, kidney, shen-men, sympathetic, adrenal gland, and lowering BP notch.
Some of the standard auricular stimulation protocols for hypertension are :
· Needing method
Select points such as adrenal gland, shen-men, lowering BP notch, & heart. Sterilize an ear and excite with 25mm or 13mm needles. Insert a needle to the ribs and then twirl quickly for 30 minutes, then take care not to penetrate through the ear, keep the needle for 20 to 30 minutes to improve stimulation, or to facilitate additional manipulation.
· Magnetic bead pressing
Select the magnetic beads with a diameter of 1.5 to 2.0 mm and a magnetic strength of 0.04 teslae (400G) around. Prepare three groups of factors: (1) shen heart and men; (2) liver and kidney; (3) lowering BP notch. Put the beads on one group weekly and on either side. Before altering the magnetic patches, gauge the blood pressure for documents, if no improvement after fourteen days, stop it.
· Blood-letting
This system is also called “blood-letting acupuncture,” because therapists often use a three-edged needle as an instrument. For hypertension condition, rub the backside of the ear to create the veins congested, prick onto a vein quickly and squeeze lightly to release 4〜5 drops of blood, then press on the punctured stage with a clean swab to prevent bleeding. Those people who have a bleeding problem, anemia, hypotension, or pregnant women aren’t suggested.
· Seed pressing
The seeds used in this method are white mustard seed or vaccaria seed or since they’re tiny enough to put precisely on the ear stage. The seed may act to alleviate cramps, calm down, ease pain, and reduced blood pressure. For hypertension, the commonly stimulated points are liver, lowering BP notch, ear apex, occipital, eye, forehead, and eye two. Select 3 to 4 points in 1 side, set the seed stains on them, and press for 30 seconds, in order to make the regions turn red, and feel warmth and pain.
Auricular therapy is safe in general; but if the external ears are damaged or inflamed, such as infections, ulcers, sores, and other skin problems, then it isn’t indicated. Moreover, auricular therapy, especially by needling, isn’t suitable for people who have a bleeding tendency, anemia, and pregnant women. Auricular therapy can attain a superior curative outcome when mixing with other treatment modalities.
