That managing Fibromyalgia with Fitness is the best medicine ever! I feel so passionate about this, it glows inside me. I want to teach everything I learnt on my journey to inspire and inform all of my story.
My inspiration to share My Fibro Story of Fighting Fibro with Fitness, stems from my almost disbelief of how much better I feel since weight training and good nutrition entered my life. At the beginning, I had tried so much to manage my fibro and felt desperate that nothing worked. At first, the idea of exercising when feeling so ill appalled me and I was terrified of feeling worse. But in fact, what it did was allow me to put my illnesses down and become me again. I have to be careful, but I now feel strong rather than permanently afraid as I used to. With strength, comes the energy and motivation to take better control of my life and my health. I so much wish the same for others.
