I lost 75 lbs. with diet and exercise. Plant based, sugar free and low carb. I exercised 20 minutes 5 days a week. A LOT of vegan or plant based has a lot of sugar or carbs to watch out for. Super easy to achieve results once your body gets through the withdrawals of chemicals, meats,and SUGARS. I only drink coffee and water. Pinterest recipes are the best and squash, sweet potato, and cauliflower are more versatile than you can imagine. It took about 8 months with exercise.
I eat for my body. I donâ€™t follow any diet. I generally eat plant based. No bread, crackers, pasta, sugar*potatoes etc. Yes, I realize tiny amounts of carbs exist otherwise. *i do eat sweet potatoes but not any other potatoes. Beets, baby carrots, celery, garlic, onion, Brussels sprouts, sweet potato are my favorite veggies.
My favorite Recipes:
Large pot on stove. Heat canned curry paste with water or coconut milk. Add sliced veggies you want. Asparagus,carrot, onion, mushroom, bell pepper, Brussels sprouts halved,cabbage,yellow or zucchini squash etc. all or some. Cover and simmer 15-20 minutes or until desired tenderness. You can also add in noodles with the veggies if you want. Just make sure to check a few time to make sure it isnâ€™t sticking.
My go to dinner when I am too lazy to cook: Raw cauliflower and store bought hummus.
