3. Bananas

Caffeine can go either way. Caffeine is a stimulant which can make someone have more bowel movements or in if overdone, diarrhea. On the other hand, if a person is already dehydrated, the caffeine in coffee, black tea, colas, and chocolate can make the constipation worse.

5. Dairy

In large quantities, dairy products, such as milk, cheese, yogurt, and ice cream, can cause many people to become constipated. It could be attributed to the milk itself or a combination of items. However, the lactose in milk can cause increased gas and bloating which can make someone feel much worse if things are not moving through properly.

One study of Iranian kids, ages 1 to 13, discovered that dairy products might be the source of their constipation. Just about all children (80 percent) who removed cow’s milk and milk products from their diet had more regular bowel movements. 

Most dairy products have low-fiber and high-fat content, which makes them unsuitable for consumption when you’re constipated. Dairy products that have milk may also worsen the situation. 9. Apricots
