36 year old woman came to our clinic with complaint of urinary infection she was suffering for the last two years. She explained a burning sensation from throat till her stomach and further described that she would see blood in her urine occasionally. She didn’t experience any pain while urinating. However, she would experience pain that would start from her stomach and go all the way up to her esophagus.In addition, she had very low appetite and drank less than 4 glasses of water. She has become very impatient and wanted a cure with a fast turnaround. She expressed lot of concern about the blood in urine and worried about being detected for cancer.Here patient is presenting a mental symptom MIND – DELUSIONS – cancer, has a: (5) carc. ruta sabad. spect. verat. Now if we see the materia medica everyone state this symptom delusion has a cancer.which means this symptoms may be in male or female both.
In Homeopathy, when we look at boericke materia there it is specifically written that
” Delusion She has Cancer”. There is one single remedy where it is specifically written that a female having delusions of cancer. In this case, our patient is also a female. Remedy mentioned in Homeopathy is SABADILLA. This remedy also covers burning sensation from stomach to esophagus.
It is interesting to note that Sabadilla is not a well known remedy for Urethritis or Cystitis.
Prescription:
Sabadilla 200 – 2 dose for 2 weeks and Sac Lac TDS
The patient was cured in 2 weeks and since then she has been healthy and not worried about Cancer. I feel that this tis the power of Individualization whether your remedy covers the pathology or not, it will work if it is chosen on Homeopathic principles.
