Foods with estrogen –lowering properties
Endometriosis is an estrogen dependent disease. Increased levels of estrogen causes a reduction in the level of progesterone that in turn results in low osteoblasts (bone making cells): this may be the reason for THE LOW BONE DENSITY.
Recommended foods with such properties:-
Low Bone Density
N/B- STOP CALCIUM SUPPLEMENTATION, it may lead to hardening of tissues and hardening of arteries causing atherosclerosis and other medical complications.
Bones are not made of calcium but of 12 minerals and 64 trace minerals, what calcium simply does is to facilitate the absorption of the rest of minerals into the cells resulting to strong and healthy bones. For this reason, all individuals should ensure they meet the recommended daily intake.
Recommended foods for weak bones (high in minerals)
1. Celtic / Himalayan salt
2. Dark green leafy vegetables (rich in minerals) and legumes- high levels of oxalic and phytic acids in vegetables and legumes also help in calcium absorption
3. Calcium rich foods
4. Foods to avoid/ leach minerals out of bone cells
All beverages and foods with acidic effects. Calcium is the strongest alkaline in the body and when the pH in the cell is saturated with acid, calcium is fast drawn from the bones to neutralize it. This results in weak and fragile bones.
