History:The patient had suffered a miscarriage 4 years ago and had been devastated when she came to our clinic. Her husband and her had tried unsuccessfully to conceive again and after a year of trying and consulted a fertility specialist. They went through 2 years of tests, endless needles, blood work, medications, 6 failed artificial inseminations and 2 failed IVF cycles. Every Doctor they went to said everything looked “normal” and they should keep trying different protocols. Not one Doctor could give them a reason as to why. The patient could produce eggs but not fertilize them. One IVF cycle she produced 29 eggs and not one took. All they could tell her was because of my age it is more difficult, as she was 36 years old. Needless to say those years were filled with many tears. Tears of sorrow and frustration.
Case:
The patient was recommended to our Clinic by a friend and she thought of giving our clinic a try. She was a bit skeptical at first and figured if nothing else, she could detoxify herself from the past years worth of infertility drugs she had taken.
