A 31-year young patient suffering from severe hypertension, obesity, heaviness in the head, edema below the eyes, disturbed sleep, came to our hospital on 13 March 2019 for Ayurvedic treatment. His left kidney was smaller in size by birth. Patient also had a history of fatty liver, right side kidney hydronephrosis. His Lab Reports:Hb-15,ESR -42Uric acid -8.50, Microalbumin -941.30, Urine report – pus cells-35-40, Bacteria +. BP- 220/140, weight 109.1 kg.
Our Ayurvedic doctor (Vaidya) did clinical examination as per Ayurveda principals and also did pulse diagnosis (Nadi Pariksha). The patient advised taking some oral Ayurvedic Medicines and Panchakarma treatment especially Shirodhara and Basti for 15 days.
Results:
We have stopped allopathic medication for blood pressure on 14 April 2019. The client has been on Ayurvedic oral medicines.
His BP is 145/ 100, no edema, no heaviness on the head. He gets a good sleep.
Urine report is normal with his urine protein decreased significantly. The patient and his family members are very happy and satisfied.
