This retreat is for people who: 

● Experience moderate to high levels of stress, overwhelm and anxiety. 

● Want to learn inside-out natural resources to replenish and regain energy and control 

● People who see their day-to-day effectiveness, focus and concentration affected by either stress, uncertainty, or excessive mental rumination. 

1 day Online Relax & Restore Immersion 

- 9.30 - 10.00 Introduction. Time to get to know each other and introduce the 

program. We will make sure to take everyone's needs introduction. 

- 10.15 - 10. 45 Meditation to Ground, Settle & Relax. 

- 10.45 - 11.00 Tea break 

- 11.00 - 11.30 Yin yoga Session (1,5 hour) to Recharge the inner batteries and 

boost overall energy - Yin yoga sequence designed for kidney and liver meridians according to Chinese Medicine. 

- 12.00 - 13.30 Practical Stress Management for Daily Life (you will be given 

homework!) 

- Lunch break & Time to integrate* 

- 17.00 - 18.30 Restorative Yoga for Deep Relaxation and Release of nerves and 

muscles (1,5 hour). 

- Dinner time & time to relax 

- 20.30 - 21.30 Guided Yoga Nidra for deep release of mental, emotional and 

physical tension. This is a pre-bed practice that will prepare your body and mind to fully benefit from one of nature’s best replenishing resources: sleep. 

- Goodbye’s and discussion of options to deepen the client’s journey after the 

retreat has ended

A few notes upon joining the retreat: 

1. There is no meditation or yoga experience needed to be able to join this retreat. 2. A follow up 1-on-1 session of 45 minutes will be scheduled with each client on the day of the retreat. 

3. Recordings will be made of each session, so clients can enjoy the therapeutic benefits of the program long after the retreat has ended.

This is an holistic 1 day retreat specifically designed to help clients recover from and alleviate stress, overwhelm and fatigue. An antidote to a time of uncertainty, this 1 day immersion offers a selection of handpicked best practices that have (scientifically) proven to work and will recharge the whole body and mind and facilitate a process of profound stress relief. As a result, the client will gain a deep sense of ease, release and heightened body awareness. Clients will leave with renewed energy and a stronger insight and tools to address daily life in a healthy, supported way. 

The Online Relax and Restore 1 day Immersion offers therapeutic and restorative yoga practices, a deeply relaxing meditation and a workshop to help the client gain practical resources and knowledge on stress and anxiety relief. A pre bedtime guided Yoga Nidra (also known as yogic sleep) will help release deep tension on a mental, emotional and physical level and will leave the client restored on a profound level. The 1 day program is carefully designed to give maximum benefits to the client’s emotional, physical and psychological health. 

The meditation and the different therapeutic body practices offered will help activate the parasympathetic nervous system (the rest and digest response), stimulate the nervus vagus and help reverse the effects of an overused fight and flight stress response. Through the workshop, group interaction and the embodied lessons shared and practiced, the client will be encouraged and taught to create new habits that will support the body and mind into relaxation. A 1-on-1 follow up counseling session (45 minutes) will be scheduled to see how the client can integrate relaxation and stress relief techniques further into their day to day life. 

This Online Relax and Restore Immersion is held by Ellen Aarts, international retreat leader, yin yoga Teacher, mentor and relaxation expert. Ellen specializes in anxiety and stress relief and she facilitates clients in becoming more effective, resilient, calm and centered in their day to day life. She does this through science-based tools and techniques, offering a pragmatic combination of intellectual knowledge, applied techniques, as well as life experience and the spiritual approach to true ease and replenishing. 

Ellen has been leading her Relax and Restore weeklong retreats in internationally renowned yoga retreat centre Suryalila in southern Spain. For us she curated a special 1 day Online Immersion, sharing a few of her favorite best practices that all center around the healing and transformative properties of relaxation.

Hello, my name is Ellen.

I invite you on the journey that will take you from stress to calmness, from overwhelm to resilience and strength and from tension to who you really are. A place of true strength and true super powers.

My mission is to facilitate you in becoming more effective, resilient, calm and centered in your day to day life.

I specialise in anxiety and stress relief and I do this through sharing science-based tools and techniques, offering a pragmatic combination of intellectual knowledge, applied techniques, as well as life experience and the spiritual approach to true ease and replenishing.

In my work I combine both my personal and professional experience.

I use my skills as an academically trained journalist and international communication expert, my gained managerial and mentor capacities and all I have learnt being an international retreat leader, yin yoga Teacher and reiki energy therapist. The services I offer here at Nourishdoc are:

1. Relax and Restore' digital package, which has different therapeutic tools that you can practice with from the comfort of your own home.

2. Coaching, with either a single coaching session or a coaching process plan that would be a trajectory of 3-5 sessions helping people overcome anxiety, stress, fatigue. Every process would start with an intake, that is free of cost (30 -45minutes).
