These yummy patties are a good source of proteins. We have replaced potatoes with chickpeas to cut down on carbohydrates and increase protein content. On adding cottage cheese, the biological value of proteins increases as combining a vegetarian source of protein with a milk product results in supplying complete proteins. As all the ingredients are already cooked, just a little grilling gives it a crunchy flavor, perfect for eating.

Chickpeas, or garbanzo beans, have been grown and eaten in India and middle eastern countries for centuries. Their grainy texture and nutty taste pair well with many other foods and ingredients. They contain a rich source of vitamins, minerals, and fiber. This legume can make a good replacement for meat in many vegetarian dishes as it is high in protein.
