Summary

Huge shout out to Kasha Ra, my Functional Medicine Practitioner and Acupuncturist. She helped me discover in January 2017 that I had early onset Hashimoto's Thyroiditis (an autoimmune disease where your body attacks your thyroid) after being told over and over "nothing was wrong" with me and that it was in my head. I knew something was wrong and so glad we caught it in the early stages.

After working together the last 3 months I am super proud to say my antibody levels are decreasing. It's been hard (especially eating out at social functions) as I have had to adjust my diet like crazy (no dairy, no soy, no gluten, no processed sugars, and I am eating organic meat again almost daily after being vegetarian for 15 years) but holy smokes, the proof is in these results (and how I feel).

Having a practitioner in your court who digs deep and believes in your potential to heal is AMAZING! Super duper recommends her.

P.S. Her acupuncture is incredible.
