Medical History

After struggling 10 months with a bad knee from running and trying ice, rest, advil, peppermint oil, I decided to try acupuncture, as recommended by a family friend.

Summary

At the first session with the acupuncturist, my knee was very swollen and by the end of the treatment, the throbbing ache was gone. By the time I was home, I had no pain in my knee but didn't say anything, because I thought maybe it was just in my head. After I woke the next day, the swelling was completely down and decided to run a 5k the following day. It was the first time in 10 months I didn't have pain and found myself trying to correct the way I walked and went upstairs, as I had no idea how much I was compensating for my injured knee over the past months. I knew there was no way it was just in my head and so grateful and excited to see what else acupuncture can do for me! I only wished I tried it sooner!!
