I am changing my diet to control Diabetes
Total years in practice:
6 months ago I went to an endocrinologist looking for help with my T2D. She gave me a long list of medications I could start in addition to the already 1000 mg of Metformin I was taking. The list of side effects, which were worse than my then condition, was even longer and included suicide and cancer. The cost was just as appealing. In the end, she nonchalantly said that I could try a low carb diet and recommended some books she admitted were very old and possibly outdated. I never read the books. But I began searching YouTube for low carb and sugar addiction. Through that, I found Diet Doctor. I had heard of Keto before and even tried it sorta once but probably only heard the EAT BACON part and not the EAT LC VEGGIES and FAT part. I’ve learned so much and am so thankful for this information.
