I have been on FODMAP for about 8 weeks. I didn't really start to notice any real difference until about week 5 or 6, so it does eventually alleviate symptoms. The problem with me is that it made me so ridiculously constipated. I ate roughage, drank water, took aids, but I was still horribly stopped up. I finally reintroduced wheat, and it's like I'm a new person. So, I'm doing FODMAP, and it's working, but I had to add wheat back in.
