About me

Store Owner & creative head at Dagmar Hirsch TriYoga & Ayurveda. Dagmar is a certified TriYoga Teacher and Founder of the TriYoga & Ayurveda Clinic in Cairns. She has been practicing Yoga since 1993 in Germany, Austria, Bali, and Australia. After she finished her Midwifery studies at the University of Erlangen in Germany, she worked as an independent midwife for a number of years. Next, to her studies, she did a Diploma in Reflexology.


After teaching several years in Germany she moved to Cairns, where she opened her own TriYoga & Ayurveda School. Dagmar kept studying in the TriYoga and got certified in Level one, two and three. She continued to deepen her studies in Yoga Therapy, Applied Physiology & Anatomy and in alignment based Yoga systems by completing her Advanced Diploma of Ayurveda at AIHM in Perth, to work as a “Naturopath in the Indian healing tradition”.

She teaches Yoga Classes, Workshops, Retreats, and Teacher Training and offers one on one for Ayurveda Consultations and Treatments.

Besides group classes, Dagmar also teaches private Yoga lessons. This is an ideal way to receive personalized instructions and highly beneficial for those recovering from injury or requiring special attention i.e. back pain. The focus can be therapeutic as well as fine-tuning your asana practicEIn 2017 she was Finalist at “Cairns Business Woman of the Year” Awards.

Dagmar is a compassionate, tolerant, and content person. Her teaching instructions are positive, calm, warmhearted, and joyful. She carries positive energy in which students love to indulge in.
