About me

BONNY CHIPMAN E-RYT, Certified Accessible Yoga Teacher, is the owner of Yoga NW. Her passion is making yoga accessible and welcoming for all who seek it! Bonny has been teaching for nearly a decade, with an emphasis on therapeutic, body positive, and accessible yoga. She specializes in working with students who experience anxiety, seniors, adults with disabilities, and individuals with chronic illness/injury. Bonny continues her studies as a student of Integrated Movement Therapy, a yoga-based therapy that sees students as already perfect and whole - a person and not a diagnosis, under the mentorship and guidance of IMT creator and founder, Molly Lannon Kenny. In addition, she serves as a member of the Accessible Yoga organization's communication team and is a Yoga & Body Image Coalition Community Partner. Owner/instructor Bonny Chipman took the time to learn about my condition and guide me to outside resources as well. Her teaching style and focus on accessibility keeps a gentle practice interesting, therapeutic, and without pressure - exactly what I need." -Molly K. , YNW member
