April is a 550HR certified Ayurveda Therapist and Vinyasa/ Yin Yoga instructor since end of 2016. She began Yoga in 2008 and started teaching in Jan 2017. She has worked in multinational companies for over 15 years, specialised in Human Resource field and project management. She was born as an Empath and has been extra sensitive to people’s energies and emotions since childhood. Her special experiences had led her to continue with her Counselling skill training for 1 year in Hong Kong University. She came from living the busiest corporate world in Hong Kong. She understood how current modern life style can cause anxiety, depressions and a sense of loss with unrealistic expectations from outside world. Like everyone tried to thrive in a highly competitive environment, she couldn’t cope with her mother’s passing and work related stress. She collapsed in the office. Her true self healing journey began.
Fortunately she overcame her depressions with the help of Ayurveda Yoga Therapy and Meditation and believes that her mission is to share her direct experiences with others. She left her corporate job in Sept 2019 and started teaching full time. Her objective is to empower everyone she touches to awake their inner power to handle any challenges in life. She believes in a non-religion view to embrace all modalities without separating East to the West. She is also a very devoted Vipassana meditator and she meditates 2 hours a day everyday. She also follow Mindfulness trainings taught by Thich Nhat Hanh and continues participating in the Plum Village community.
