Dr. Hadnott became a student of nutrition after a medical crisis in her 20s and being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. After conducting many hours of research on the healing properties of food, she became passionate about studying nutrition, which lead to her receiving several certifications and publishing numerous scholarly articles. Crystal has comprehensively studied over 100 dietary theories, the science behind food as well as innovative methods in integrative wellness in developing her professional principles and private practice.
She is a Certified Integrative Nutritionist, Functional Wellness Coach, Health Educator, speaker, author and advocate curating a holistic health revolution to help people operate at peak performance and reach optimal wellness: Nourish. Nurture. Sustain.
Her wellness philosophy is one that looks at the complete person and focusing on the full spectrum--physical, mental, emotional, spiritual wellness of the individual. She believes that since people are multi-dimensional, health has been addressed with a multi-faceted approach.
As an authority in the industry, she has authored her memoir and will be releasing her highly anticipated second book, Living Nourished: Nurturing Principles Beyond the Plate
After creating a transformative brand, to further her mission through community engagement, advocacy, and diplomacy, she wanted to do her part by expanding Synergy through her charity's initiatives to provide change, "Growing Up Growing." With an understanding that limited access to nutritious food and proper nutrition education is systematic, structural, and institutional racism. Growing Up Growing not only provides community gardens for youth within their neighborhoods but also offers educational workshops giving social instructions and interactions around the food that they are growing--potentially leading to economic development and sustainability within that community. This philanthropic action leads to her advocacy action, Growing on the Go, which will kick off during the Spring of 2022.
As an expert in her industry, Crystal has been nationally featured in SHAPE Magazine, Women's Health Magazine, Runner's World as well as seen on ABC, CBS, CNN, and more. She has partnered with a multitude of organizations serving as their nutrition expert facilitator/speaker, such as Microsoft, Dropbox, Chevron, and the Federal Reserve Bank. She has also collaborated with notable brands as an influencer and ambassador, including Goli and Airborne.
Crystal is an alumna of the University of Houston, Texas Southern University, Maryland University of Integrative Health, and the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
