About me

Esther is a compassionate registered dietitian and a certified diabetes educator, and has over a decade of combined experience working in the in-hospital and outpatient clinical setting and pharmaceutical setting.

Esther has directed the health education team here at AAMG since January 2017.   She received her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from the University of California, Berkeley and her Master's in Business Administration from Saint Mary's College of California.

Since starting, Esther has implemented a unique array of culturally sensitive health education programs for the Chinese community.  Assiduous in her dedication to improve the quality of life and forge better, healthier lifestyles for patients, she operates by adapting the most current scientific research and blends together nutrition science with familiar eastern diets, into her programs.

Starting as an immigrant, herself, and growing up in San Francisco, she understands the culture and lifestyles of many Asian Americans here.

Esther is fluent in both Cantonese and Mandarin.  She enjoys cultural gastronomy and the art and science of nutritious eating and cooking. During her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, hiking, photography and sightseeing.
