About me

Dr. Elizabeth Taddiken

Licensed Naturopathic Physician

Dr. Elizabeth Taddiken is a licensed naturopathic and primary care physician based in Scottsdale, AZ. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Applied Biological Sciences from Arizona State University, she received her medical training from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine where she focused on women, pediatrics, gastrointestinal, and endocrine health and preventative medicine. Dr. Taddiken treats a wide variety of acute and chronic conditions with naturopathic modalities and therapies. She has a particular interest in women's and pediatric medicine, including pre and post conception health.

Dr. Taddiken's journey to naturopathic medicine began as a child while growing up in a home where nutritional health and well being was carefully incorporated on a daily basis. Most of her childhood ailments were addressed with nutrition or home remedies. A foundation of mind-body health was also incorporated from her parents, while both sets of grandparents gave her an understanding of the importance of growing healthy food, and enjoying the fruits of the labor involved.

Over the years she developed a love of gardening, specifically growing medicinal plants, which later led her to start making her own internal and topical botanical remedies.  She was given an opportunity to live and learn from great friends in Florence, Italy who practiced chiropractic, botanical and nutritional medicine.  She later found naturopathic medicine, and her family physician, when she was searching for treatment of a debilitating condition.  It was after her treatment, and the gentle care she received from the doctors she worked with, that she knew this was the path for her.  Soon her daughters came along, and as you can guess, have only known naturopathic medicine and continue to thrive with such care.  When the opportunity presented itself, Dr. Taddiken followed her dream of practicing naturopathic medicine as a licensed naturopathic physician.

Dr. Taddiken is a mother of two daughters and loves spending time with them, her husband, and extended family and friends.  She enjoys all kinds of activities that keep her outside including hiking, biking, camping, and just sitting with her feet in the cool grass.
