About me
Hello everyone, I am Wasuki Upadhyaya. I was born in India but grew up in Japan. I came to India for my elementary education. I did my high school in a school run by an order of monks- Ramakrishna Mission, established by Swami Vivekananda himself. Later went to Medical school and then worked in modern psychiatry. Its limitations drove me to pursue Masters in Ayurveda. Currently I practice Integrative mental health care and secondary research. I love spirituality, the Law of karma for the Solace and Hope it provides us during tough times, hence use it in my therapy if my clients are open to such ideas. I personally believe spirituality is the way for personal fulfillment without necessarily being ascetic or frugal. Being a food lover, I appreciate the dietetics of Ayurveda. I am inclined towards Dwaita Vedanta Philosophy of Madhwacharya.
