Dr. Tasneem Bhatia, MD, is board-certified in integrative medicine, pediatrics, and holistic medicine—specializing in prevention, emergency medicine, and pediatrics, with expertise in women’s health, weight-loss, hair loss, men’s health, autoimmune and thyroid conditions and nutrition. She is the author of the best-seller “Super Woman RX, “What Doctors Eat,” and “The 21-Day Belly Fix.” Personal health challenges in her twenties combined with a broken health care system motivated Dr. Taz to pursue an alternative definition of health and healthy living. She continues to have a strong media presence and desire to educate others about living a truly healthy life. Credentials Dr. Taz MD is board-certified in Integrative Medicine—and a fellow of the University of Arizona Program in Integrative Medicine led by Dr. Andrew Weil (completed the fellowship in 2008). A native Atlantan, she attended The Westminster Schools, Emory University, the University of Georgia and the Medical College of Georgia. After completing her residency in pediatrics at the Medical College of Virginia in 2000, she received the Emily Gardner Award for Best Pediatric Resident. She currently serves on the Medical Advisory Board for Genexa, the Board of Directors for GLiMMER, an international organization led by Dr. David Katz, MD, which is dedicated to health and healthy living, and the Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Protection & Potential. As a passionate advocate for child health and nutrition, she is a committee member for UNICEF’s Southeastern Speaker Committee, which exists to support UNICEF’s mission—to protect children's rights and help meet their basic needs so they can reach their full potential.
