About me
I'm a Functional Medicine Dietitian specializing in Women's Health and hormones. I've made it my mission to identify the root cause of your health issues and utilize food, supplement, and lifestyle changes to help get you feeling your best.
There is so much information out there on what we should or shouldn't eat: low-fat, high-fat, low-carb, no-carb-it's stressful just thinking about it! I firmly believe that there is not one "diet- that everyone should follow. Restrictive diets only add more stress to our lives, and don't actually solve the root of the problem. Plus, who wants to be counting calories in their 90s? Not me! Wellness is about more than simply extending years onto one's lifespan. Quality is just as important as quantity.
I love working in women's health because I've BEEN there. My journey to hormonal happiness hasn't been at all straightforward-heavy, painful periods starting at age 11, "treated- with 15 years on the hormonal birth control pill, hormonal acne, and Hashimoto's thyroiditis-I've taken the hormonal roller coaster ride!
I have my master's in Nutrition Science, with additional training in Functional Medicine. I've also spent countless hours reading through the research and literature so that you don't have to!
