Holistic Doctor, Functional Medicine
Total years in practice: 25
I qualified as a medical doctor in Lithuania 25 years ago and specialized as a vascular surgeon in Lithuania, Germany, and the UK. With my family, wife Jolita, and three sons, we have happily lived in Northern Ireland for the last 15 years. Despite having worked hard for my degree I knew that I had so much more to learn about the body’s healing. I have learned that modern medical devices combined with alternative therapies ensure a successful and drug-free journey back to health and wholeness. As a Functional Medicine Practitioner, I employ integrative medicine principles to discover and treat the underlying causes of disease. Science-based, Functional Medicine utilizes the laboratory testing of modern mainstream medicine as well as a careful assessment of the patient’s history, including environmental and genetic factors that contribute to the patient’s condition. I combine modern and alternative medicine principles to achieve the quickest and safest way back to health. Also, I am a Fellow of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons (FRCS), Member of European Society of Integrative Medicine, Health Professional for Cellular Medicine (HPCM), and Physiological Regulating Medicine (PRM). I devote my life to the healing-oriented medicine that values the whole person, including all aspects of lifestyle. My work is evidence-based and makes use of the following therapies:
Kinesiology and muscle testing with gentle acupressure allowing to balance the entire body holistically;
Bioresonance* (a partial or full body scan using special sensors placed in the modified headphones while sitting in front of a computer that uses technology designed to adjust your body’s energy and effectively ‘tunes’ it to a healthy frequency);
Acupuncture (fine needles are inserted at certain sites in the body for therapeutic or preventative purposes);
Cold Laser Therapy* (a safe, painless, non-invasive, drug-free treatment for a variety of pain syndromes, injuries, wounds, ulcers, neurological conditions, tinnitus, rhinitis and to lower blood pressure, cholesterol, triglycerides, glucose and to improve blood viscosity);
Homoeopathy & Low Dose Medicine (a holistic medicine which uses specially prepared, diluted substances with the aim of triggering the body’s healing);
Cranial Electrotherapy Stimulation* (a form of neurostimulation that delivers a very small, alternating current via electrodes gently clipped on both earlobes to treat anxiety, depression, and insomnia);
Dry Medical Cupping is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which special cups are placed on the skin for a few minutes to create suction. It is used to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation, and well-being;
Holistic Oriental Health Program using Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) principals;
Vibration Therapy* (a form of therapy that uses body tissue vibration at a specific frequency to enhance physical health, overall well-being and relieve pain and stiffness, for example, arthritis, joint stiffness, tendonitis, hand & led tremor).
* All devices can be purchased after the clinic or rented for £50 for 2 weeks to try.
Today I work specifically with safe new medical technologies combining bioresonance, pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) therapy, cold or low-level laser therapy (LLLT), cranial electrotherapy stimulation (CES), kinesiology, homoeopathy, low does medicine, acupuncture, electro-acupressure, dry medical cupping, visceral therapy, reflexology, aromatherapy and many other modern and old ways of helping my patients to feel better and fully activate their life. With my family, we volunteer at Helen’s Bay Organic Farm where you can find great people, new friends, and the highest quality organic food for your body and soul. Every Friday at 5 pm I organize 3 minutes free guided swim in the Irish Sea at the end of the Brompton Road in Bangor. Please join me and others to experience a magical cold water treatment.
