I’m Katie, a food writer and registered dietitian with a master’s degree in clinical nutrition. When my kids came along, they didn’t care a whit about those credentials, only that their noses got wiped and their bananas mashed just right. I put my work life on hold for a fair stretch, worrying all the while that I’d lose touch with my craft. Turns out the opposite happened. Being a mom fueled a passion for helping families raise healthy kids through sound feeding habits, delicious recipes, and lots of patience.
