Krishnankutty Vaidyar, Kannankulangara who was an authority of Rasasastra and Sidha system. He got guidance from Late. Abu Vaidyar, Ferok, who was well known for Sidha treatment and Visha chikitsa [Toxicology including snake bite treatment]. Dr. Sasikumar Nechiyil has mentored both Late. Dr. Sanjay Pisharodi and Dr. Sreejith Ayyappath in their quest to become Ayurveda Experts. He has been a part of Govardhan Ayurveda since the time of Dr. Pisharodi and now visits the Centre regularly as a Consultant to offer his expertise to the patients. Govardhan Ayurveda takes immense pleasure from the guidance of Dr. Sasikumar as it would benefit the Centre a lot on the long term in its pursuit of becoming one of the top Ayurveda Centres in India in the near future.Late Dr. Sanjay PisharodiGlobally renowned Ayurveda expert, Late Dr. Sanjay Pisharodi was a holistic health practitioner, specialized in Palliative medicine and Hospice care from Cardiff University (UK) and University of California (USA). He was qualified in several alternative therapies - Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Yoga, Naturopathic Medicine, Sujok, Pranic healing and Medical Astrology, making way for a practice of integrated holistic medicine. Born into a family of traditional Ayurveda physicians of Kerala, he was introduced to studying the art of Traditional Indian healing called Ayurveda after which he went on to specialize in Palliative Oncology in the modern stream of medicine. While working in California, Wales and India with terminally ill patients, he could see the limitations of the modern approach. He was heading the Govardhan Ayurveda initiative at Goverdhan Ecovillage, which is a United Nations award winning project with a vision to preserve and promote natural health, based on Ayurveda and Yoga. He published a translation and commentary on the classic Ayurvedic text named "Ashtanga Hridayam - The essence of Ayurveda- dedicated to Radhanath Swami his spiritual mentor, which is the first of a 30-volume series, written in an elaborate manner for the understanding of all students and enthusiasts of Ayurveda, all over the world. It contains authentic translations of each word as well as elaborate Sanskrit commentaries. Born into a traditional Hindu family in Palakkad district of Kerala, Dr. Ayyappath had a special inclination towards this holistic system after he was introduced to studying the traditional Indian healing called Ayurveda, after which he went on to master this art. Dr. Ayyappath started his career from Kerala Ayurveda Ltd, Aluva and then worked as Senior Consulting physician at Kottayil Ayurveda Vaidyasaala, Shoranur, and then worked abroad as Sr. Consulting Physician at Samkkya Ayurveda hospital, Malacca, Malaysia; and as a Consulting Physician in Branch of Patanjali Yogpeet Trust Haridwar.
