About me
Nina Hoffmann. Fluid Fascia Yoga 250h RYT , Ayurveda for Autoimmunity & Depression Trauma-sensitive Mindfulness
Writing about intuitive yoga, traditional ayurvedic lifestyle in the modern world and healing from the inside out.
I have been a student of yoga for over 12 years now and after immersing myself in various styles I decided to do my teacher training in classical yoga at The Yoga Institute in Mumbai Santacruz. I am also trying to give my students the message that our body is our own teacher and we always need to listen to it and work with it according to our needs.
Later I have come across Yin Yoga, the teachings of the Taoist principle, fascia therapy and trauma release. I started looking into new ways of working with asana, body and mind, enabling women that have experienced a disconnection from their true nature, to rediscover themselves in new ways, finding peace and nourishment within and expressing and manifesting their soul purpose.
As a woman I have come a long way from mental and physical dis-ease, clinical depression, a feeling of not belonging, unhealthy relationships and a nervous system at breaking point to a strong body & mind, new perspectives and a loving relationship to my environment.
My goal is to share what I have learnt on this journey. I intend to do so by teaching a highly intuitive asana practice combined with a holistic approach to well-being based on traditional Ayurvedic principles and trauma-sensitive mindfulness techniques.
