About me
Carina Alana Preuss
My family and friends describe me as a cosmopolitan person with a heart. As a health lover, Ayurveda Apostle and Yogini by Nature, I have a strong urge to do good in the world. In addition to my main job in life, namely being the manager of Ayurveda Parkschlösschen, I love to travel and get to know new things. I am a strawberry fetishist and marathon drinker, I read, meditate, sing, dance and laugh and I am constantly working on great new projects to convey my knowledge and my passion - Ayurveda and modern spirituality. Of course, I also like to spend a lot of time with my favorite people and my dog, little Jady.
How did you get into Ayurveda?
I was lucky that my parents decided in the early 1990s to open an Ayurveda spa hotel. That is why I was able to enjoy Ayurvedic oil massages as a child, and as a teenager I worked in the hotel shop and restaurant. It quickly became clear to me that I wanted to take over my parents' company one day, so after graduating from high school, I decided to study hospitality management in Switzerland. In 2011 the time had come: I not only got into the operation of the Ayurveda Parkschlösschen, but also immersed myself in the fascinating teachings of Ayurveda every day. I learned from Ayurveda doctors, attended Ayurveda training courses and tried to put my new theoretical knowledge into practice at home. I changed my habits, did a yoga teacher training and started my regular meditation practice. Ayurveda and spirituality developed into my most important heart issues in my private life.
