Vaidya Varuni S J, MD in ShareeraKriya, Diploma in Panchabhautik Chikitsa, (PhD) currently holds the position of Consultant Physician cum Associate professor in the Prestigious Sri Sri College of Ayurvedic Science and Research, Bengaluru. She has a professional experience of 9 years, and is well versed in English, Hindi and Kannada languages. Since her Post-Graduation in KriyaShareera in June 2010 she has been actively involved in graduate teaching in the subject of Shareera KriyaVijnana - Ayurvedic Physiology. As a professional teacher she has carved a niche for herself and has gained popularity as one of the most prominent tutors in the field of Ayurvedic fraternity. As a consultant of Ayurveda since 2005, She is considered as an expert in treating respiratory disorders,Hyperacidity, Constipation, Indigestion, Sinusitis, Arthritis, Renal calculi, Urinary tract infections, Insomnia, Sciatica, Hyperlipidaemia, Diabetes, Hypertension,Migraine, disorders related to Hair and Skin, chronic dermatological ailments like Psoriasis, Lichen lesions, Vitiligo, etc, through unique approaches based on classics of Ayurveda. She has a lot of experience in handling lifestyle diseases and preventive medicine through her unique protocols of Swasthya Shodhana (Detoxification). She has extensively researched on intake of processed ghee and its effects on serum. She has presented scientific papers at various National and International seminars. She has been resource person in several C.M.E. programs and Workshops conducted across India. She has been an active volunteer in various free medical camps, health check-ups and treatment camps in backward and rural areas conducted by different NGOs in Mysore and Bengaluru. With her clinical and academic skills, she intends to explore new arenas and render contributions for societal welfare.
