Honoring the Spiritual Process As a patient, Nicholas felt alienated from the separation of mind and body, and the entire disregard of soul within conventional medicine. So Nicholas started his profound study and practice as an acupuncturist to honor the spiritual element of the healing process as taught by the ancient wisdom of Chinese Medicine. Nicholas uses acupuncture as preventative medication to maintain his or her clients' bodies powerful, mind based, and to correct imbalances before they manifest as disease. Nicholas is an acupuncturist and healer. His job is to help individuals move through challenges: physical, mental-emotional and religious. His work empowers freedom and health through unconditional, compassionate self-awareness. He's also a Reiki Master, combining his knowledge of the science of the body with his instinctive talent for listening and working with subtle energy. He's also a regular contributor to Chinese Medicine books, such as"Acupuncture Today,""Chinese Medicine Time," and"Oriental Medical Journal." He teaches Chinese Medicine, acupuncture, and health within the healing field and to the general public. His Expertise & Studies Nicholas has been known as a"healer's healer," having worked over another medical field for over ten years. He's a M.S. in Acupuncture from the Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences; a B.A. in Sociology and Philosophy from Brandeis University; and continues to study under renowned Chinese medical master and Taoist priest, Jeffrey Yuen. Nicholas is licensed by the State of New York to practice acupuncture. He's also practitioner and student of Taoism and Buddhism, a Reiki Master, Chinese Medical scholar, teacher and author, using his expertise and expertise to instruct and inspire.
