About me
I've been a professional body worker since 1998 as a massage therapist, Bowen Therapist and then Acupuncturist since 2006. After experiencing debilitating wrist and hand pain I visited an acupuncturist in 2001. Not only did he help my pain I was delighted to notice that my hayfever and fatigue subsided, my reaction to stress dramatically improved. I knew I had to learn this fascinating healing system. In 2003 my wife and I packed our bags and moved to Melbourne for me to study Chinese Medicine. For nearly 4 years I immersed myself in my studies with the highlight being able to work in a clinic at a men's homeless shelter. That was an amazing and rewarding experience. At the end of my studies I had the opportunity to complete an internship at The Guangxi Traditional Medical University, Nanning, China for two months. After moving home to Adelaide I honed my skills by treating LOTS of people and attending many seminars. I became well known in the fertility and IVF support industry receiving referrals from IVF clinics around Adelaide. In addition to the fertility work I also treated many painful conditions using Acupuncture, Cupping and Bowen Technique (often in a unique combination).
