Dr. Julie Juhyun Cho, DAOM, MS, LAc is a Licensed Acupuncturist serving the New York and New Jersey area. Dr. Cho's office is located in the Flatiron District / Chelsea / Union Square, of Manhattan, NY and she is the owner of her personal practice, respectively titled Julie Cho Acupuncture, PC. Having her own private practice ensures Dr. Cho that her touch of elegance and professionalism is captured in her work. Dr. Cho interacts with clients daily who require pain management, and also focuses her efforts on internal health, mental health, cancer care, pediatric acupuncture, women's health and fertility support. Dr. Cho received her Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences with a concentration in Public & Community Health in 2002 from SUNY Stony Brook in 2002. Dr. Cho is also graduate of the Master in Healthcare Policy & Management program and earned her credentials the following year. More prominently, Dr. Cho is a graduate from the Masters of Traditional Oriental Medicine from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and completed her program in 2012. In May of 2016, she received the title as Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) from PCOM-San Diego. Prior to attending acupuncture school and obtaining her professional credentials, Dr. Cho worked for the American Cancer Society for seven years, managing Cancer Control programs, Advocacy, and serving cancer patients and families. Alongside her accolades, Dr. Cho also holds various certifications, including her NCCAOM and Juheng Acupuncture Technique and Oriental Medicine certification from Seoul, Korea.
