About Me

Hamish Reid is the Owner and Director of Reid Health. Holding a Bachelor of Health Science majoring in Acupuncture. Hamish’s special interest is Sports medicine and the treatment of Musculo-Skeletal conditions including Neck and Back pain, Sciatica, Disc Herniation, Arthritis, and Tendon Injuries.

Hamish Lectures at the Australian College of Natural Medicine and at Southern School of Natural Therapies in the areas of Muscular Skeletal Acupuncture.

Hamish has always been an advocate of drug free medicine. He believes that when the body has a health issue, we should look at the cause of the disease and not just the symptoms. By using this approach we make sure the pathology either never returns, or is kept at bay without the use of strong drugs (which may have a detrimental effect on the liver and kidneys).

Our primary goal is to help our patients get back to optimum health fast and doing the activities they love, without pain or suffering. We aim to achieve this by providing the best care we can, in a professional, cost effective and team orientated manner, whilst making sure our patient's needs and health goals are met every step of the way. Reid Health was founded by Hamish & Eleanor Reid in February 2008. Hamish has been a Chinese medicine practitioner in private practice for the last 15 years.
