Dr. Erin is Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and Nationally Board Certified with over 15 years of experience. Dr. Hurme received her Doctorate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the renowned Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, California. She started Amityville Wellness, an Integrative Health Center in her hometown. She received clinical training at the prestigious Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China. For many years Dr. Hurme focused on treating professional athletes such as the NFL Tennessee Titans, NY Jets and Nashville Predators. She also worked with many other professional athletes such as Dancing with the Stars and Cirque de Sole. She was a professor of acupuncture at the New York College of Health Professions in Syosset, New York for over a decade and is a guest speaker at colleges and large and small companies around the world.
Dr. Hurme practices acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine with a full granular herbal pharmacy on site and provides integrative medicine to all of its patients. She is committed to treating her patients with the utmost care and concern.
