A 56 year old male patient, farmer by profession visited our clinic with complaints of severe Itching and blackish along with some whitish discolouration and thickened skin (Lichenified skin) on several parts of the body since one year.Past History: NASMedical History: He has taken a lot of medication but didn’t find any relief. Ayurveda Diagnosis: KAPHA PRADHAN TRIDOSHAJ KUSTHA Allopathic Diagnosis: LICHENIFIED ECZEMA
After my initial diagnosis of lichenified dermatitis, I prescribed the following Ayurvedic medication.
Tab.Arogyavardhini vati 1 tab BD with khadirarishta
Tab.Panchtikta guggulu ghrita 1 tab. TID with warm water after food
Khadiraristha 3Tsp TID with warm water after food
Panchtikta ghrita 1tsp BD after food with lukewarm water
Mahatiktaka Kashaya 15 ml with 15 ml lukewarm water in morning and evening before food
Garcinia indica oil Extract for external application
I prescribed the medication for a period of 3 months along with strict diet plan as well. After 3 months of treatment, the patient was successfully healed form the eczema as is evident from the images attached.
