HISTORY:88 year old lady, 4 years ago fell on the shoulder esq, it got quiet bad. From that time until then he made two infiltrations that relieved him a lot of pain, but he has returned sensibly 1 year agoThe clinical and complex picture, because it is a patient with 88 years … That’s why I only speak of what is directly related to the complaintEcho shoulder – suspected partial supraspinatus ruptureX-ray – syndrome of joint conflict, exacerbation of the humerus attributed to omarthroseThe patient has acceptable lateral mobility (good functioning at the level of the TA meridian), but the frontal aspect is practically non-existent, the elbow is not advancing in relation to the trunk (in my ophthalmologic approach and still affected P tb)
THERAPY:
I received a patient a few months ago before I knew Dr Tan’s fears and so I used local points plus some distal points (P7, IG4, IG11, IG15, E36, E37, BP6)
I did two treatments, in the second I added some ashi points, places
The result was … Insufficient
The lady appeared again today and faced the diagnosis contralateral piquei
p10, P9, P8, E37, E38, E39, F4, R6, R3, ganyandian extra proximal to the external malleolus
Result a few seconds after insertion of the needles … “Ah it seems that my arm is better …”
The patient increased mobility enough to advance the elbow in relation to the trunk more than 40% only a few seconds after the insertion of the needles
